Here are some of the curry leaf fruits containing seeds harvested from my mother's home grown curry leaf plant.
As
one can see they are now very ripe with a dark purplish colour and if
you look closer there is one with its skin peeled off a little showing
some yellowish flesh.
Here is the cross section of the fruit. One can see the seeds and the flesh of the fruit.
The fruit is sweet and edible but one has to be careful of the seeds as they are poisonous.
This picture shows the fruits
on the curry leaf plant. The reddish ones are unripe fruits while the
dark purplish globes are very ripe fruits ready to be harvested.
The leaves are very fragrant and pungent to smell and taste.
We harvested the fruits and planted them into makeshift pots as seen below.
The picture on the left is our new curry leaf plant seedlings. Currently the pride and joy of our planting sessions.
They are the product of the harvested fruits and seeds from our mother's curry leaf plant.
It took them about 2 weeks to start sprouting out and now they are growing very well.

Bitter gourd plant
We planted the bitter gourd plant because of its very useful properties.
It is able to help with high blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol as well. This is a very good vegetable to grow and have for health.
However, one has to remember that when growing the bitter gourd plant one has to plant it separate from other plants especially plants that will bare sweet fruits. Bitter gourd plants tend to make the soil around it bitter thus when other plants grow around it the fruits will also be bitter.
It is best to grow the bitter gourd plant in a deep pot that will not contaminate the surrounding soil so that other plants will not be affected.
These are grown from seeds fresh out of the bitter gourd fruit. It takes less than a week for them to sprout.
These on the right are about 3 weeks old. They are a bit parched thus we have shifted it to a more shaded area of the garden. They are also about to start creeping up a fence or just on the floor.
They are creeping plants thus you can let them creep on the floor of your garden or let it climb a fence.
Below are the pictures of what the fruit/vegetable of the bitter gourd looks like.

Ginger Plants
We planted this ginger plant with just a small bulb and a shoot. Now it has ballooned to so many bulbs and shoots.
Ginger plants are easy to grow and regrow and you will have endless supply of fresh ginger at your fingertips.
Just get a bulb with a small shoot and put it into some soil and let grow and in a few weeks time you will have fresh ginger to use in whatever needs ginger!
As you can see from the pictures below they multiple really fast and plentiful as well.
Feel free to ask me questions and any advise or comments or opinions are most welcome.
As you can see the darker brown bulb is the original bulb which the rest grew from.....
